We have ALL made it home!

April had trouble making all her connections and had to stay the night in Miami. Christy stayed back with her and they both landed at CVG around 1pm today (Wed). Thank you all for your prayers during this trip. We will have a sharing time on Sunday July 26th at both services. God is doing big things in Haiti!

So why don't they write

I am so sorry to not have put more on the blog.  The computer that i brought didnt work so i have had to beg others to use theirs and the connection is super duper slow.  Anyway, we are all fine and have had a great trip. We all have plenty of stories to share.  We spent four days at the orphanage which was pretty rugged but we had a great time.  We were stranded a few times from tap taps breaking down so we had to walk 2 miles each time but no big deal.   We have done a lot of cool things and not everything as planned, but that is haiti.  Please pray for our travel tomorrow.  Everyone is anxious to get home and we miss you all.

See you tomorrow night!

Jackie Chan Preacher Man

Jack preached at a Salines Myette revival service on Saturday night.  He did great and even raised his fist in the air as he delivered a fine message about being born again.  We were all so proud of him.

We set sail for Tortuga!!!

AlHello Everyone,

We had a great trip to Tortuga on Monday and we did our VBS right next to the beach. We all had a great trip and no one got sick. We acted out the prodigal son story and played on the beach and swam. Today, tuesday, we started painting a room for Heaven's Waiting Room and had a loo-ou (sp) with the gran-moun. Amber and April were a little sick but are doing fine now. We are having a great time of fellowship. Danny has started an old guitar restoration project. Mike has found some electrical wiring and plumbing to do. Larry has been dancing at the gran-moun quite a bit. Alex, Brian and Billy are trying to fix an air conditioner. Abby, Olivia, Eileen, and Jenna are spoiling all the babies, including Jacob and Malia. Ashley and Christy have been tending to the sickly mentioned above. Christy Bucher and Rita had a good time with the nutrition moms today.

Tomorrow we will continue our work here at the main campus. We will head out to the far west on thursday. We plan to do a lot of great work out there but you may not hear from us until Sunday when we return.

We love you all and God Bless,

Pico

Yes My dear friends WE are ALIVE and WELL

Our trip was quite an adventure to say the least and yes I, Pastor Pico, puked on the buss. There I said it.  It's no big deal but the sitting in the back of the 7 hour bus ride is not for the old.  We have been doing great things here.  Today, we travelled to Ansanfluer (sp) and Pico was able to preach.  Larry also preached at Job's church down the road from the mission and ate goat for lunch.  Pretty tasty says Larry.  We have big plans tomorrow as we sail to Tortuga, very exciting.

Everyone says hello and sends their love.  We are all in good health and are having a great time.  The internet connection here is a little spotty so we don't know how often we will be able to update yall.  We head out into the sticks on Thursday.

Thank you for your prayers.
God bless you all.

April, it was great to hear from you!

We sure do miss you. We got all our bags packed full of really great stuff. Sounds like you are having a great time. Like I was saying on the phone .... the bakery equipment needed some special fittings last time the the group of guys were there in February. Joe Fortenbauer said he would try to find those fittings but he needs to know the make and model number of the equipment. SOOO check with Janiel or Grant or someone who is involved with the bakery so we can get that sucker crankin out delicious bread for all the children to devour.

If anyone like Janeil, Grant, Curtis, Mike Grant or someone needs something specific, let us know so we can be sure to bring it. Please say hello to Jacob, DenDen, John, and Steven for us and tell them that we will see them soon.

Anytime you like to share any stories or just let us know that you are still alive, please go ahead and do so. We love you and miss you.

Love, Dad

April, it was great to hear from you!

April's summer adventure

Fresh out of high school; April packs her belongings and heads out into the real world! How excited she is to be heading to Haiti as an intern sponsored by The River Church. Her head is filled with all the possiblities of things she will do; places she will go; people she will meet as she helps spread the Gospel to the Northwest corner of Haiti ..... but wait; something is missing. As she boards the plane to begin her journey she is struck with the feeling like she is missing something very important. She searches feverishly through her bags throwing things in the air when she realizes her grave mistake. She stands up in the middle of the airport terminal and screams; "Where is my toothbrush?!"

Good luck April! You're gonna need it.
