We had a great trip to Tortuga on Monday and we did our VBS right next to the beach. We all had a great trip and no one got sick. We acted out the prodigal son story and played on the beach and swam. Today, tuesday, we started painting a room for Heaven's Waiting Room and had a loo-ou (sp) with the gran-moun. Amber and April were a little sick but are doing fine now. We are having a great time of fellowship. Danny has started an old guitar restoration project. Mike has found some electrical wiring and plumbing to do. Larry has been dancing at the gran-moun quite a bit. Alex, Brian and Billy are trying to fix an air conditioner. Abby, Olivia, Eileen, and Jenna are spoiling all the babies, including Jacob and Malia. Ashley and Christy have been tending to the sickly mentioned above. Christy Bucher and Rita had a good time with the nutrition moms today.
Tomorrow we will continue our work here at the main campus. We will head out to the far west on thursday. We plan to do a lot of great work out there but you may not hear from us until Sunday when we return.
We love you all and God Bless,
Pico

Okay, here it goes again. I wrote a whole note to you and then it didn't get posted. ARGH!
ReplyDeleteWe are all doing fine here but missing you more each day. Eli is getting a little weepy at night and looking at pictures of you really brings it on, lucky for us there are very few pictures of you all on the website so we don't have to worry about that one! Could you please jump in front of the camera at some point???
Anyway, here's whats been going on...
Amelia went to a museum with her friend Stephanie. We went to check on your house and bring in the mail. We brought the corn hole game over....hours of fun I tell ya! We visited Cheetoh at the Brand's. She has made friends with lots of kids in the neighborhood. We went to the Cone. (oops I wasn't going to tell you that b/c it might make your mouth water, sorry!) Tomorrow we are going to see Mrs. Kerr and Miss Cindy and Margaret is going to manage 3 kids at a swim meet all evening.
Yahoo!!
Please tell all of my Haitian friends that I miss them and I want to come and see them again someday!!
Have fun in the far west. Make sure you sit under that one tree for some shade! :) Give all of the kids at the orphanage lots of hugs for us and take lots of pictures!
We miss you so much!!
Hey, tell the folks at the mission that we need to see more pictures!! 14 pictures a day is not enough, especially when there aren't any of The River Group in them. And, they didn't post any pics from Monday. I hope you all are taking lots of pictures... because we're getting nothing on this end.
